Terms of Service

These terms cover use of Onirix for private AI search, uploaded files, connected cloud drives, indexing, source retrieval, generated answers, and citations.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Onirix, including the website, dashboard, APIs, integrations, indexing features, retrieval augmented generation features, and related services.

If you use Onirix on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If your organization has a separate written agreement with Onirix, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these Terms.

2. The Service

Onirix helps teams create a private AI search layer over uploaded files and connected business sources. Users can upload documents, connect sources such as Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint, and other supported systems, index content, ask questions, generate answers, and retrieve citations or source references.

The service may extract text, generate embeddings, create searchable indexes, retrieve relevant chunks, and pass selected query context to AI models or service providers to generate answers grounded in available sources.

3. Accounts and Administration

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting credentials, configuring workspace roles, and controlling who can upload, connect, search, retrieve, or administer content.

Organization administrators may manage users, integrations, indexed sources, retention settings, logs, billing, security settings, and access to generated answers or citations.

4. Customer Content and Permissions

You retain ownership of files, data, prompts, queries, outputs, and other content that you or your users provide to Onirix. You grant Onirix the rights needed to host, process, index, retrieve, display, transmit, and otherwise use that content to provide and support the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, notices, consents, and permissions to upload files, connect cloud drives, index content, and allow authorized users to retrieve source material during query generation.

Do not upload or connect content that you are not permitted to process through Onirix, including content subject to restrictions that your plan, agreement, or configuration does not support.

5. Connected Sources

When you connect a third-party source, you authorize Onirix to access, sync, index, update, delete, and retrieve content from that source according to the permissions and settings you configure.

You are responsible for the accuracy of source permissions, folder selections, sharing settings, and integration scopes. If source permissions are misconfigured, users may retrieve content that your organization made available to them through those settings.

Third-party services are not controlled by Onirix. Their availability, APIs, permissions, terms, and privacy practices may affect how connected sources work.

6. Generated Answers and Source Retrieval

Onirix is designed to retrieve relevant source material and generate answers grounded in those sources. However, AI-generated answers may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or not suitable for a particular use case.

You and your users are responsible for reviewing citations, source snippets, file links, and underlying documents before relying on an answer, especially for legal, financial, medical, employment, security, or other high-impact decisions.

Onirix does not provide professional advice and does not replace human review of source materials.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use Onirix to violate law, infringe rights, compromise security, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the service, disrupt the service, or upload malicious code.

You may not use Onirix to generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or privacy-invasive content, or to process data in a way that violates your obligations to employees, customers, partners, or regulators.

8. Privacy and Security

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, uploaded files, connected source data, query data, retrieved context, and citations.

You are responsible for configuring your workspace, integrations, and user permissions in a manner appropriate for the sensitivity of your data and your compliance obligations.

9. Fees, Plans, and Changes

Some features may require a paid plan or separate agreement. Fees, usage limits, renewal terms, and payment obligations are described at purchase or in the applicable order form.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as the service evolves. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid materially reducing core paid functionality during an active subscription term unless needed for security, legal, provider, or operational reasons.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay amounts due, or use the service in a way that may harm Onirix, users, third-party providers, or others.

You may stop using the service at any time. Deletion, export, and retention of customer content are handled according to the Privacy Policy, workspace settings, and any separate written agreement.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Onirix is provided without warranties of any kind unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement. We do not warrant that generated answers will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure, or error free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Onirix will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.
